Privacy Policy

Version dated October 10, 2026. We run proxy lines, not an advertising business, so there is less here than you might expect. This page lists every category of data we hold, what it is for, and how to ask about it. Requests go to [email protected] or to @NewYorkProxiesBot on Telegram.

Account records

When you register at nyc.newyorkproxies.com we store your email address, a hashed password, the time zone and language you choose, and the dashboard settings you change. If you contact support we keep the conversation so we can follow it up. We keep account records while the account exists and for 12 months after it is closed, in case of a billing question, then delete them.

Payment records

We keep invoices, the payment method type, the amount, the date and the processor's transaction reference. We never see or store full card numbers; the card processor handles those. For crypto payments we keep the address the payment came from and the transaction hash, because that is how the payment is identified. Payment records are kept for seven years, which is what tax rules require of us.

Line usage records

For each line we log the time of activation, rotation events, the carrier address held at each point, and connection metadata: the time, the destination host and port, and bytes transferred. We do not log the content of your traffic. Connection logs exist so we can respond to an abuse complaint about a specific address at a specific time, and they are kept for a short period, currently 14 days, then deleted. Rotation and address history for your own line is visible to you in the dashboard for the life of the plan.

  • Connection metadata: 14 days
  • Rotation and address history: life of the plan
  • Traffic content: never logged

Website visits

Our website keeps ordinary web server logs with the visitor address, the page, the time and the browser string, for 30 days, for security and to see which pages are broken. We do not run third-party advertising trackers. We may use a simple, self-hosted page counter that does not build a profile of you.

Telegram

If you contact @NewYorkProxiesBot, Telegram gives us your Telegram user ID and display name, and we see the messages you send to the bot. We link the Telegram ID to your account if you choose to connect them so that notifications and support work. Telegram's own privacy terms apply to the transport.

Who can see your data

Our staff, to run the service and answer you. Payment processors, for the payment they handle. Nobody else, except when the law requires us to disclose, in which case we disclose only what the law requires and tell you if we are allowed to. We do not sell data and we do not share it with advertisers.

Your rights

Email [email protected] from your account address to ask what we hold about you, to correct it, or to delete the account and everything tied to it that we are not legally required to keep. We answer within a few days. If you are in a jurisdiction with specific privacy rights, those rights apply and we honour them the same way: by email, promptly.

Changes

If this policy changes, the version date at the top changes, and for anything material we tell account holders by email. Questions about anything here: [email protected] or @NewYorkProxiesBot.

Questions

Do you keep what I browse through the line?

No content. We keep connection metadata for 14 days for abuse handling and nothing else about the traffic.

Can I use the service without an email address?

No. The email is the account and the only way we can reach you about billing or an outage.

Will you hand my data to a website that complains?

No. We respond to abuse complaints ourselves. Data goes out only when the law requires it.
